About Lemoore Online

Not only does Lemoore Online offer a flexible, fully supported online high school learning environment, but we also possess the unique feature of being located on the West Hills College campus in Lemoore, CA. In sharing the grounds of West Hills College, Lemoore Online has developed a unique partnership with the College. This partnership streamlines the opportunity for Lemoore Online high school students to participate in "dual enrollment", meaning students can take college courses, earning legitimate college credits, alongside their high school schedule. And to top it off, the West Hills courses, grounds, and textbook usage are Free-Of-Charge to students of Lemoore Online College Preparatory High School.

While the prospect of taking college courses may seem daunting to students and their parents, please be aware that enrollment in West Hills College courses is 100% voluntary for our students. However, those that desire to take on this challenge will often find that success in college courses is well within their ability, particularly with the support of the staff at Lemoore Online. 

The Lemoore Online staff takes great pride in our ability to develop relationships between students, teachers, counselors, administrators and peers. Our curriculum allows for attention to unique learning styles while on-site counseling services and one-on-one relationships with teachers allows for the benefits of a traditional school with the flexibility of online learning.

Our teachers and staff get to know each student's goals and needs and use this knowledge to enhance curriculum and instruction. Our students benefit from individual academic plans created by our counselors, parents, and students during Orientation.  These plans help individualize each student's experience at Lemoore Online.

The Lemoore Online teaching staff each possess a California Teaching Credential, have vast subject area expertise, and a passion for teaching. Our teachers are well-versed in communication skills and computer competency.

Our on-site teachers will consult with each of their students, providing differentiated instruction tailored to maximize personalized online learning. Our teachers provide academic and emotional support that allows students to be successful while progressing at their own pace. We understand that the goal of education is to encourage students to discover and develop their interests, talents and natural gifts. This approach inspires our students to become active learners who think independently, communicate effectively and see themselves as members of a global community. Our teachers and our program give students the necessary skills to become self-directed adults who are confident about and prepared for their "next steps" into college and career success.

We understand that school should be a partnership. At Lemoore Online the teachers, parents and students all work closely together to make up the "learning team". Parents are given the tools to communicate with their child’s teachers, are encouraged to attend all meetings, and have real time access to their child’s progress in all courses. 

At Lemoore Online, the term “Independent Learner” doesn’t mean the student is alone.  Our staff works with every student to make sure they are supported during their time in our program.  At Lemoore Online, our students are supported as they transition and learn how to become self-sufficient, independent learners that work on their own from home or wherever they choose to be. Whether a student is already in the workforce, involved in an internship, or training for the Olympics, Lemoore Online will be able to give students the freedom to be independent learners while they pursue activities beyond the traditional school setting. 

While students may be independently learning, they are always fully supported by their teachers and staff at Lemoore Online.  Our on site, full-time team of dedicated staff and teachers works to ensure that all students' academic needs are being met.  Teachers make regular contact with all students (and parents) to provide support and encouragement as they foster student growth and achievement.
